Innovative, fast and efficient

Twin Concept X-Series features a unique and innovative design, conceived to combine optimal performance and efficiency. The solid anchored base represents the foundation of an extremely stable robot, free from vibrations originating from the press. The robust structure allows use of powerful servomotors, capable of ensuring formidable acceleration and reduced cycle times. Finally, an exclusive cam-operated mechanism allows use of a single motor for dual movement with linear extraction and rotation of the wrist, guaranteeing energy efficiency and excellent speed.

Light and resistant materials from the world of motor racing

While the standing frame is heavy and robust enough to offer high levels of stability, the moving parts are predominately machined from solid using high-resistance aluminium alloys and carbon-fibre arms. Profiles and shapes have been carefully refined to guarantee maximum resistance and reliability, reducing inertia. In other words, Twin Concept X-Series adopts highly sophisticated technical solutions more commonly found in the fields of aviation and motor-racing, in its search for the most powerful acceleration and speed.

Everything needed in a single system

Twin Concept X-Series does not require an external palletizing axis with associated gripping tool, typically present on traditional side-entry robots. The axes can be freely programmed, together with the built-in wrist, allowing all pick-up, placing and palletizing operations to be performed in sequence with a single tool. Programming and management of the robot is extremely simple, avoiding parallel coordination of an external palletizing axis.

Say goodbye to problems of transfer between gripping tools

Particularly with multi-cavity applications, transfer of parts between different gripping tools is a highly delicate step, with the possibility of misalignment and loss of pieces. The presence of a single gripping tool resolves this critical issue at the root, avoiding possible shutdowns and losses in productivity.

Self-lubricating runners, long-term zero maintenance

The Twin Concept X-Series side-entry robot is equipped with self-lubricating guide blocks using  ball recirculation on prismatic rails in tempered steel. This system allows operation without greasing the rails for over 40,000 km, offering significant savings on maintenance and reduced system outages.
