The sturdy and ultra-fast top-entry robot with minimal footprint for stack molding applications

The GS3W X-Series Cartesian robot is designed for stack molding applications and boasts extremely low cycle times, similar to those of side-entry robots, despite having a minimal footprint typical of top-entry robots. The initials of this model are the acronym for the word “GunShot”, which describes its explosive speed.

Electric panel on the ground

GS3W X-Series is exclusively equipped with the electric panel on the ground, for a reduce footprint and maximum user-friendliness.

The floor-standing cabinet, entirely isolated from vibrations coming from the press, is extremely reliable in the most severe operating conditions.

The mechanical structure of GS3W X-Series

Featured by the extraction axis cantileverally fixed on the side opposite the hopper. The strength of this architecture is the absence of collision problems between the robot and the hopper.

Reliability and safety: the innovative anti-collision software

The innovative software prevents the two vertical axes from colliding in any condition, even in case of programming errors, guaranteeing the utmost safety and reliability in stack-mould applications.

Carbon Technology: exclusive vertical axis made of carbon fiber

In order to minimize the shifting masses and allow maximum acceleration, we have developed an exclusive vertical axis made of carbon fiber. At once light and robust, it is of the direct single-stroke type. Maximum precision thanks to the guide system with self-lubricating sliding blocks and roll-by-balls on hardened steel prismatic guides.

Wrists with servo-brushless C axis for maximum efficiency

The GS3W X-Series exclusively has a wrist with servo C axis on each vertical axis, featuring high torque and an extremely high degree of control. Thanks to the broad 180° rotation range, the picking side on the press can be reversed from the programme without any manual intervention.
