The mechanical structure of the Spin 2 X-Series is its distinctive feature. Unlike ordinary SCARA robots, which have a vertical axle located at the end of the arm, the Spin 2 features a support column along which the entire robot runs. This solution allows for an extremely long vertical travel, with working areas comparable to those of larger anthropomorphic robots. For uses such as palletising at very high altitudes, there are custom columns available, up to 3 metres high.

The robot is factory equipped with a high-torque pneumatic wrist that is rarely present in traditional SCARA robots, extremely useful in item tilting operations. For more advanced applications that require maximum levels of agility and dexterity, there is also a version with electric wrist available, resulting in a servo-controlled five-axle robot.

Another distinctive element of this model is the use of highly advanced materials, typically used in the aviation and competitions industries: carbon fibre arms and components made of additive moulds ensure low weight, no vibrations, and reduced consumption even in the most severe conditions.

Spin 2 X-Series comes from the factory with many features: pressure line for pincer command, a wide number of connectors to control external peripherals, and software with countless functions make this robot extremely versatile and complete.

Spin 2 X-Series is equipped exclusively with top-quality strain wave gear reducers: extremely compact and efficient, they ensure accurate working throughout the robot’s life, without any maintenance.
